The story of Norman....

Like all Horse owners welcoming a new one to the fold, Sarah was really keen to get to know Norman and start working on developing a partnership straight away.  Unfortunately Norman wasn't sharing the same enthusiasm that Sarah had.  Sarah noticed very early on that Norman was a fly magnet and he just would not settle to have his feet trimmed and he managed to get a kick and a sideways shunt into Sarah in that first week of "getting to know you".  It was frustrating for Sarah that she had taken Norman in to give him a good home, but that he just wasn't settling in.

When I 'tuned' into Norman he was really quick to send me pictures of how he was feeling.  I could see his feet flying out from underneath him (which was how he felt in the float) and then this overwhelming feeling of "where did my mum go".  There also seemed to be a "bad taste" in his mouth, some wounds on his stomach, and quite a bit of anger towards the way he felt he had been treated in the past.  Norman was given his own Flower Essence blend for the emotions, an energy healing for the physical issues, and an Aroma Spray to help with wound recovery and to relax him.

Withing a couple of weeks Norman was starting to find a new exuberance in life, and in fact a new cheekiness was uncovered.  However, on the sad side he also seemed to now have a sensitivity to noises.  This is not unusual in a healing for some issues to fade away and others to come to the fore, but we have been able to deal with that now.  Norman also showed me at that point some rubbish that he thought needed cleaning up in his paddock  LOL.  Sarah dutifully did as Norman asked!

The amazing part of this whole healing was that Sarah was totally open and willing to do whatever she needed to do to help Norman... even if that meant it was something she needed to change about herself.  In this case Sarah didn't need to change; but in other cases it can well be the owner's emotions or health issues that are affecting the horse.  Sarah was supporting Norman well with some great nutritional extras and was happy to step away from "working" with Norman for a few days so that we could give him a chance just to settle in and get to know her a little better. 

Congratulations to Sarah and Norman   for winning 10 beautiful ribbons (and "Judges pick") at their first outing together, just six weeks after they first met.  "Norman looks for company now and has shown potential beyond what I ever thought could be in him ".  What a team!!
